Elevating the head of your bed may reduce your reflux symptoms at night. Acidity at night can disrupt sleep quality. People who raised the head of their bed had significantly fewer reflux episodes and symptoms, as per research.

People with acid reflux are advised to avoid eating within the three hours before they go to sleep. Studies have suggested that eating closer to bedtime worsens acidity symptoms at night. It is advised to do a light walk after dinner.
