ACIDITY REMEDIES

Reduce your portion size, chew food properly, avoid overeating and exercise regularly. Stay away from alcohol and smoking to reduce acidity naturally.

FENNEL SEEDS

Chew 1 tsp of fennels seeds after your meals. These seeds are anti-spasmodic and can soothe bloating and other indigestion problems.

CAROM SEEDS

Drinking warm water with 1 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain) and a pinch of salt can reduce gassiness, bloating and other acid reflux symptoms.

GINGER Tea

Ginger can help in reducing acid in the stomach. Drink one cup of ginger tea with some honey and lemon. It can soothen your stomach and treat indigestion.

MINT BUTTERMILK

Mint is popoular for reducing stomach acid and buttermilk can neutralise it. To reduce bloating and acidity, drink 1 glass of homemade mint buttermilk.

LEMON WATER

Lemon water has alkalising properties. Every time you feel bloated or acidic, drink 1 glass of lukewarm lemon water for relief. You can also try drinking it before meals.

Cinnamon works as a natural antacid for stomach acidity. You can add it to food on a regular basis. It can settle your stomach by improving digestion and absorption.

Whenever you feel acidic, try to chew some basil (tulsi) leaves. You can also make tulsi tea with some honey and lemon for improving your condition.
