Causes

Knee pain is a common problem that can occur due to aging, injury or osteoarthritis. You can try to get relief from this pain through some natural remedies

Ice pack

Apply an ice pack two to three times a day. It will reduce swelling. The pain will also go away

Ginger

Ginger also helps in reducing swelling. Brew it in hot water. Mix lemon and honey. Drink two to three times a day

Turmeric

Boil ginger and turmeric in water. Add honey. Drink this tea twice or thrice a day. You can also boil turmeric in milk

Lemon

Cut one or two lemons and wrap them in a cotton cloth. Dip it in sesame oil and place it on the painful area

Basil

Boil basil leaves in a cup of water. Strain and drink after few minutes. Drink this tea everyday twice or thrice

Castor oil

Castor oil is a very helpful ingredient to ease joint pain. Take it in your palm and rub it on both knees
