Forceful eating in children

Q: I have two daughters, a 6 years old, and a 4 years old. The six year old does not eat, only with great difficulty, she takes food, when forced, she often complains of stomach pain, and she eats mud stones, and chalk. And the four year old does not eat in the mornings, she vomits, when given breakfast, before 8 AM. Kindly suggest any remedy for this.

A:I would advice that both your daughters should be tested for lead toxicity (high lead level in the blood) which can give these symptoms. Along with blood lead, haemoglobin should also be checked. Another thing that should be considered are intestinal worms which can be detected by a stool examination.
