Fit in pregnancy

Q: I am 5 months pregnant. My blood group is Rh-ve whereas my husband's is Rh +ve. I had a fit 2 days back which lasted for a minute. Is there any danger to me or my baby? Could it be Rh incompatibility? What precautions should I take? Please advise.

A:As long as your ICT test is negative, Rh incompatibility is not bothering you for the time being. Your fit, if was a convulsion, needs looking into. Please see your obstetrician to rule out Eclampsia, and then a neurologist to rule out Epilepsy or other neurological reasons. I hope it wasn't a hysterical fit.
