Back pain - Sedentary job

Q: I get back pain almost daily. Also for last few months whenever I get up in the morning I get pain in the leg joints and I find them stiffy. I do not exercise. Sometimes I try to exercise. Due to this I feel tired fot the full day. I would be grateful if you can suggest some remedy for this. Also sometimes if I get up in the middle of the night, I do not get sleep easily.

A:Are you working? If so, what is your nature of work. In case it is a sedentary desk job, perhaps some simple stretches 3 - 4 times a day, with regular walk morning evening would be desirable. Start the walks slowly and gradually work up to an hour. As far as getting back to sleep is concerned, try deep breathing slowly 10 repetitions as; you lie still. However enhancing activity and walk through the day should help exhaust you enough to give you a good night's sleep.
