the bill will improve marital relations to some extent. Punishment in the form of jailing is a great tool against those bent upon torturing and beating others. A majority of these culprits just dread the word "jail" just as a majority of girls fear the word "Sasuraal". Atleast this majority of culprits will be forced to behave themselves after this Domestic violence bill. Fear is a predominant human emotion and this bill will help those without it to start possessing it for the benefit of families and society at large. When bad communication between husband and wife is taken care by this bill, rest assured, good coomunication will follow automatically, for it is said that communication is to a relationship what breathing is to life. Last but not the least men would have heaved a sigh of great relief if this bill had included in its ambit those unfortunate men also who are at the receiving end from their wives and in-laws!
