Should I use any anaesthetic gel for less painful sex?
Q: Can you suggest a local anaesthetic gel for less painful sex. I am aware of KY jelly but it does not have anaesthetic properties.
A:The purpose is to lubricate the vaginal wall, not make it insensitive. If a local anaesthetic is used, the sensation in the female sexual partner will disappear. Hence apart from pain, the pathway to brain that results in cortical pleasure will get obliterated.
