Q. Does packed milk labelled for infants, like amulspree in particular, have the same nutritive value for grown up people as cow's milk? Can it be taken as a substitute for cow or buffalo milk to provide the same nutrition?

A.  Yes, packed milk can be given to infants and is specially constituted and made so that it suits the infants body needs. Packed milk is processed in a manner that harmful bacteria are destroyed and the nutrition is maintained. In India, in most cases, cow or buffalo milk is consumed by all, including infants. In some cases however, when such is not tolerated well, infant formula and packed milk may be used.
