Q. The doctor has prescribed Enterogermina for my 5 months old daughter, who is having green stools. How should this medicine be given to her?

A.  Enterogermina is a trade name; it contains good "germs" to restore gastro-intestinal functions. It is not a drug and is generally available in the oral suspension form. The usual dose is 5ml twice daily for 2 to 5 days by mouth.
