Q. I am 54 year and I can sleep with alprax 0.25 for about four hours. Please advise if I should take some other pill for sleeping.

A.  It is very dangerous to take alprazolam (Alprax) daily because, apart from side effects (such as loss of memory), there is every chance of addiction. Alprazolam is meant for only very short-term use. You can try a sleep-inducer such as melatonin (Eternex by Dabur).
