A.  There is surgery done for varicose veins in India. The cost of the surgery is variable dependant on the type of hospital, and the extent of the surgery needed and the investigations that are needed before the operation. I would only give a word of advice as the patient has mentioned that there is severe pain, this is unusual with simple varicose veins. Thorough investigations are needed to confirm or exclude any other cause for this symptom.
