Can my dog and I get HIV infection?

Q. I took my dog for a walk, in the way there was polythene containing bandages and cotton having blood on it. My dog touched those cotton and bandages with his nose. After reaching home I washed his nose with dettol and water. Can my dog and I get HIV infection? Is that mug safe, which I used to wash my dog's face?
A.  No danger at all. Stop worrying. Dog, you and the mug are safe.
