Q. What can be the consequences of taking a heavy dose of paracetamol tablets like Combiflam and Crocin. What will happen if someone takes 10 to 15 tablets at a one time?

A.  Crocin contains paracetamol only while Combiflam is a combination of paracetamol with ibuprofen. The major effect is on liver though Combiflam will be more injurious since the side effects of ibuprofen and paracetamol will get added. Ten to 15 tablets, if taken by an adult of normal weight are unlikely to lead to long term side effects unless the liver is already impaired. Why should a person consume 10-15 tablets?
