Q: My 34 years old husband’s penis skin becomes rough and painful a day after sex. Therefore, we could not have sex on consecutive days. It takes a week to heal. Please advise.

A:Changes on the penile skin after coitus can result from trauma, contact dermatitis and or an infection. Clinical examination and if necessary laboratory investigation should suffice to make a diagnosis. Thereafter relevant management will follow.
