Q. I am pursuing IUI treatment for conception. My doctor gave me Oviduc injection for the rupture of the follicle based on the follicular study and asked me to come for IUI on the third day (of the injection). I like to know within how much time after the injection IUI may be done successfully? Secondly, after the IUI treatment is it advisable to try natural intercourse?

A.  IUI done within 48 hours is fine and you definitely can have intercourse before as well as after IUI.
