Dr Neeraj Bhalla is a senior consultant in interventional cardiology at the Max Devki Devi Heart & Vascular Institute in New Delhi.

He did his graduation from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune in 1981. This was followed by Rotating Internship at Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore in 1982 and a Medical Officer Air Force Units in 1982 - 1986. He did his post-graduation in training in Medicine at AFMC Pune. He was then a Clinical Tutor/Senior Registrar Medicine at AFMC Pune in 1989 and a Medical Specialist at the Army Hospital in Delhi Cantt from 1990 - 1994. He did his DM Cardiology at PGI Chandigarh and was then a cardiologist at Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore and then a Professor of Medicine – Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. he has also been a senior Interventional Cardiologist and Officer i/c Cardiac Cath Lab at Army Hospital R&R New Delhi and Director Cardiac Cath Lab and Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Metro Hospitals, New Delhi and NOIDA.

He is an expert in complex angioplasty procedures and adept at the use of various devices required in performance of advanced angioplasty procedures in addition to expertise in non coronary interventional as well. He is one of the few cardiologists who has done intracranial stenting successfully as well as below knee stenting in patients. In addition he has successfully done percutaneous implantation of double ASD devices in a patient with 2 defects a feat accomplished only rarely by only a few cardiologists. He has good experience in VSD closure of all sorts including periinfarct as well as congenital VSD’s. He is also one of the few Cardiologists to do Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair in Delhi.

He has attended several workshops and seminars.
