Dr Alok Narula was born and brought up in a doctor's family in Saharanpur. His charm towards serving the society took him to Mangalore for professional studies in Physical Therapy, from where he did graduation as well as post-graduation. He has served as an organizing committee member for the all India student's physiotherapy conferences for 6 years. After graduation he worked for a famous Rehabilitation center in Mangalore and also a golden opportunity to work as a sports physiotherapist for sports authority of India, coaches refresher programme in Chandigarh. This strengthened his interest in sports physiotherapy and motivated him to pursue a specialization in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy from Mangalore. I travelled back to Chandiagarh and worked as a consultant orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy consultant for a Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation center in Panchkula and a legal medical consultant for a leading outsourcing company in Chandigarh. He was nominated as an Executive Committee member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists-Chandigarh Branch.

He is the Director and owner of a leading and only independent private institute (HealingTouch - Dr. Narula's Physiotherapy Clinic) in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, which provides specilist care in physiotherapy.

His areas of special interest include research work in the field of physical therapy and to spread awareness among people towards the preventive aspect of healthcare, to avoid orthopaedic problems.
