Dr Ashutosh Singh
Consultant Nephrologist,
Knoxville,
USA

Dr Singh earned his MBBS degree from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra. After completing his formal training in medicine, he moved to the US in '99 for further studies. He completed his residency in internal medicine and later did his post-doctoral fellowship training in nephrology from St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University, New York. Dr. Singh is a Diplomate in Nephrology and Internal Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He is also a designated specialist in Clinical Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension and is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He currently practices with a nephrology group based in Knoxville, TN. His areas of interest include prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy and clinical hypertension.

His motto: "I strongly feel the need for the free flow of medical information in my area of specialisation. With chronic kidney disease (CKD) acquiring an epidemic proportion and diabetes being the most common cause of CKD, it is critical to educate the community in India, about this problem and what can be done to alleviate its onset".
