Dr Parikh is a consultant psychiatrist with Max Healthcare, a leading healthcare of India, and is the Chief of Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences.

He has done his graduation (MBBS), and post graduation (DPM and MD-psychiatry) from Civil hospital Ahmedabad and topped the university in both. He is one the leading academic experts in the field of Mental Health, and takes academic training programs and courses with doctors, psychologists, and other allied specialties in mental health.

Under Dr Parikh’s guidance, the department of Mental Health at Max Healthcare gives comprehensive psychiatry, clinical psychology, consultation liaison psychiatry and psychoanalysis services across the NCR of Delhi and provides outreach services across the country.

Under the guidance of Dr Parikh, two special programmes are conducted for schools and the corporate sector. The Max School Mental Health Program, a specialised programme for schools across the country, through this program various seminars and workshops are conducted for schools. Dr Parikh conducts training programs for parents, and teachers and takes sessions for students, and also under his guidance courses for teachers and counselors of schools are conducted. The Max Organizational Psychology Initiative, is a programme for the corporate sector wherein programs are conducted on stress and coping, and life management by Dr Parikh and his team. Dr Parikh also has internship programmes for psychology students under his supervision, and is associated with academic institutes as an expert.
