Dr Shital Navnit Parikh, MD, is currently an Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Cincinnati, Ohio and holds a clinical faculty appointment at University of Cincinnati. His clinical interests include sports related injuries in adolescents and young adults, requiring arthroscopic surgery of knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, or ankle. His research interests are anterior cruciate ligament in skeletally immature patients and osteochondritis dissecans.

Dr Parikh completed his undergraduate studies from Gujarat Law Society, Ahmedabad, in 1991 and earned his medical degree from Smt. NHL Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1996. He was presented the National Scholarship Award for his performanace in undergraduate and graduate studies. He was trained in Orthopaedic surgery at LG Hospital and VS Hospital, Ahmedabad, and was awarded his masters degree for the same.

His clinical fellowships include Joint Reconstruction at NYU - Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York in 2000-2001; Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2001-2002; Trauma Surgery at Sunnybrook and Women's Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada in 2003; and Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in 2003-2004.
