Dr Hansa Kanuga
Consultant Physiotherapist,
Mumbai

I am a B.Physio from the M.S University, Vadodara & have been associated, for over two decades, both as an employee & also as a consulting Physiotherapist, with Jaslok, Breach Candy, Bombay, & Lilavati hospitals in Mumbai. My last assignment was with the Lilavati Hospital as Chief Physiotherapist. I have also been a private practitioner for over a decade, in Bandra, Mumbai.

Since January 1, 2000, I have changed the course of my professional pursuit & have been seeking intellectual enrichment as follows :
  • I have authored two books, aimed at youngsters & middle-aged executives respectively, on correct postural habits for prevention of neck & back disorders. Both books, published by Tata Donnelly, have recently been
included by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, in the list of recommended reading for educational institutions in Maharashtra. My third book, on a related subject, is scheduled for publication by Tata Infomedia in early 2001.
  • I have been associated, in a consultative & training role, with the Dilkush School for Special Children, Juhu, Mumbai, for over five years & am now able to commit more time & energy to this exceedingly satisfying
    assignment.
