Prof. Manoj Sharma is involved in the field of Oncological Sciences for last 35 years. Treating cancers by comprehensive approached with special preference to gynecological cancers is his main passion. Sensitized chemoradiation in various tumors being his main field ,the rewarding Chemosensitized Brachytherapy was standardized by him for the first time in the world. Honoured to work at Cancer Institute , Chennai and a Faculty of Delhi University, he has guided thesis of more than a dozen MD students. He has published more than 100 papers in national and international journals of repute. His dedication to Preventive Oncology showed miracle in harvesting early and late stage disease. As Advisor, Cancer Control ,Delhi Govt. he has brought tremendous reforms, regularizing district "Friday" cancer clinics, publishing 33 books,150 articles in magazines and news papers, 100 TV and Radio programs. His books on Patient information and School Cancer Education have been most acclaimed one. As Fellow of Indian College Radiology, he has got many prestigious awards like ICMR award on Breast Cancer Book, K L Oration for life time achievement in Clinical Sciences, Karmaveer Puraskar for Socio-medical Services, Green Globe Award for environmental ,Best Citizen Award etc.
