Dr Sharad Rohatgi was a medical undergraduate at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences from where he did his MBBS He trained to be an Eye-Surgeon at Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS from where he did his MD in Ophthalmology. He went on to do specialisation in Eye Lasers,Vitreous & Retinal diseases and Angiography of eyes from Sankara Nethralaya,Chennai. His clinical and research interests are in the management of Diabetic and Hypertensive Eye Diseases, Lasers and Angiography of Eyes, on which he has given several talks all over the country and conducted several Instruction courses in Conferences.
Since 1987, he has been a Consultant in Ophthalmology at various Hospitals and has established his own Laser Eye Centre at Darya Ganj, New Delhi of which he is the Medical Director.
