The idea that if you legalize homosexuality then people will ask to legalize prostitution or bestiality is wrongly founded. In the contemporary heterosexual environment if situation was so pleasant and satisfying and moral, I ask why till this date we have the institution of prostitution, why we have crimes of different sexual nature been committed on daily basis in this purely heterosexual world. Clearly the sexual orientation has nothing to do with the moral character of the person and allowing homosexuality and helping same sex families will actually have more satisfied people in the society and consequently less crime

If homosexuality is legalised, why not adultery, polygamy, incest or bestiality. These people also have Fundamental Rights! There are several studies that prove that homosexuality is largely environmental and culture based. There is no such thing as a gay gene. Please refer to NARTH studies and articles on this.

Last year Nepalese Supreme Court has also delivered a landmark decision on the issue of gender and sexual minority. The court has said that no one should be treated discriminately only because of his sexual orientation and sexual identity inter alia.

It should not be equated with crime. For a crime to happen there has to be a victim. I don't see there could be any victim in the case of consesual relationships. religious leaders would be against it as it affects their bread and butter activities like marriage, rituals and more. people born with anamolies like extra fingers, eunuchs are also anamolies in the designs of god and we should accept them in a similar way. They should be accomodated in the society. eradicating prejudices against a section of the society will lead to our society being robust and viewed by the rest of the world as non orthodox.
